Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal data is processed when you read Aromatherapyoildiffuser.co.uk, and what rights you have under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Version of 9 September 2026.

Scentech V.O.F. is established in the Netherlands. Because this site is aimed at readers in the United Kingdom, the UK GDPR applies to the processing described here alongside the EU GDPR.

What happens when you read this site

This is a static website. There are no accounts, no forms, no newsletter and no basket, so the only processing takes place at the hosting layer.

Hosting with Cloudflare. These pages are served by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages). To deliver the site and protect it against abuse, Cloudflare processes your IP address, the time of the visit, the page requested, your browser type and the referring page in technical log files. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in a working, secure website (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR). Cloudflare acts as our processor and retains these logs for a short period. Processing outside the United Kingdom takes place under the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

No cookies. This site sets no cookies of its own and loads no analytics, advertising or social media scripts. No visitor profile is built.

Fonts. Headings and body text are loaded through Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited), which receives your IP address in order to serve the font file. The lawful basis is again our legitimate interest in a legible page (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR).

Links to getscentech.com

The buttons and links to Scentech's offer page carry a referral code (ref) and campaign parameters (utm) so that Scentech can see an order came through this site. That code sits in the link itself; this website stores nothing about it. Once you are on getscentech.com, the privacy notice and cookie policy of that shop apply, and there the shop platform Shopify and the referral programme GoAffPro set their own cookies to remember your basket and the referral.

Links to John Lewis, Holland & Barrett, Tisserand, HoMedics, Trustpilot and other third parties lead to websites with their own privacy policies, over which we have no control.

If you write or call

We process your name, your contact details and the content of your message in order to answer it (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) UK GDPR). We keep that correspondence for as long as handling it requires and for as long as a legal retention obligation applies.

Your rights

You have the right to be informed, the right of access to the personal data we hold about you, the right to rectification and erasure, the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Write to support@scentech.store; we respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the UK supervisory authority:
